Ingleside Baptist Church (Ingleside) was founded in 1951 with a vision to impact lives in Macon, GA – a vision that continues to this day. With nearly 2,000 adults participating in the three Sunday morning worship services, over 300 children involved in its children’s ministry each Sunday, and over 300 students involved in its student ministry, Ingleside is a steady force for building the Kingdom in Macon, Georgia.

Ingleside is a Purpose-Driven church that is committed to fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. The congregation has a compelling mix of ages, professions, and backgrounds. Young families have found their way to Ingleside in droves due to the outstanding reputation of the children and family ministries, which include a state-of-the-art facility for kids, a full-service weekday preschool program, and outstanding programming for people of all ages.

Ingleside has a vibrant middle school ministry that serves over 150-200 students weekly through “Arise” (6th grade) and “Basement” (7th-8th grade) Sunday morning gatherings, Wednesday night small groups, and its innovative “Wired” ministry that equips students for service.

The new Middle School Pastor will be the primary communicator and leader of the Middle School Ministry at Ingleside. The successful candidate will be able to create and maintain strong relationships with both the parents and students. They will be able to foster trust while bringing the students closer to God, as well as becoming personally involved in the lives of Ingleside Middle School students and families.  The Middle School Pastor will also participate in other pastoral duties including funerals, weddings, and counseling opportunities.

Macon is located in central Georgia, just 85 miles south of Atlanta, hence the city's nickname as the Heart of Georgia. Macon boasts a high quality of life at a low cost of living. With a variety of schools, beautiful surroundings, and recreational activities, it is undoubtedly a great place to live and raise a family. Its proximity to Atlanta offers an abundance of cultural and entertainment options just 75 minutes away.
