Praise for Nicole
Chantel has served The Church for over 20 years in various full-time and volunteer positions. Most recently, she worked for Hope City as their Executive Project Manager for Ministries where she strategized, implemented and oversaw systems & practices, supervised a team of Directors across five ministry areas, and developed processes for implementing new initiatives.
She had the honor of serving on the Lakewood Church staff during the height of its growth and transition to their current location. One of Chantel’s roles at Lakewood Church was Volunteer Coordinator for the Joel Osteen Ministries “Night of Hope” events held all over the nation. Chantel established and led the intercessory prayer team, was a part of the curriculum writing and teaching team for the PrayerLife Classes, and served as the Team Lead for the Singles Compass Sunday School class.
For many year’s Chantel has shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in global humanitarian and evangelistic work in Rwanda, Uganda, Angola, Belize and Honduras. She has a heart for the broken, the unloved, and those that feel hopeless.
Chantel and her husband Ali have one amazing son and daughter-in-law. In their free time, she and her husband enjoy dancing. They are trained in several styles including: Cuban Salsa, Detroit Ballroom, and Bop. One of her favorite quotes is by William W. Purkey; “you’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”
