Jim Jessup is the grandson of William Jessup, founder of San Jose Bible College in 1939, now William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA. Jim graduated from San Jose Bible College and was ordained into pastoral ministry in 1987. He received his master’s degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary in Illinois in 1991.

Jim has served as a pastor for 11 years and since 2003 he has been the Director of Church Relations for William Jessup University. With the varied faculty and student resources of a Christian University behind him, he assists many churches on the west coast in coordinating transition issues, pulpit supply, and staffing needs. He personally speaks frequently in various churches, retreat gatherings and at Christian schools on the West Coast.

Jim has been married to Liz since 1985 and has two grown children. One is Samantha, who is married to Jacob Bingham and they have brought two grandsons into Jim’s life adding the title “grandpa” to his bio. He also has a son named Curtis who has found the right girl and by all indications, marriage is coming soon.
