Praise for Caroline
Meredith Mohr serves on the Operations Team at Vanderbloemen Search Group.
In her role on the Operations Team, Meredith serves as organizational support, ensuring that the search consultant team has everything they need to find great staff for Vanderbloemen’s clients. She also helps coordinate writing projects for William and the business development team.
She became a Houstonian three years ago seeking an adventure like Mary Tyler Moore (that show is actually about Meredith’s life). That adventure included travel writing, working in a newsroom, and learning a lot about Houston’s oil and gas industry as a copywriter. She also had an opportunity as a freelance writer to spend six months working in local Houston politics with Outreach Strategists, where she worked on ghostwriting, blogging, and social media for Mustafa Tameez. Every writing project has taught her something new about the world and given her a deeper love for telling people’s stories.
Before joining Vanderbloemen, Meredith was a part of the Communications and Media team at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. It was here that she got to combine a love of Christ with a love of writing. Being planted in these two worlds made the transition to Vanderbloemen a natural direction to grow – a drive to love God and love people and to use her natural strengths for work she deeply believes in motivates her in her role at Vanderbloemen.
Meredith has lived half her life on the East Coast in Tennessee and Virginia and the other half as a Texan. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in print from Sam Houston State University. She is happiest in a hammock with a good book and a cup of coffee, and in her free time can be found spending time with her Parish at Sojourn Heights Church or practicing watercolor brush calligraphy.
