Calvary Community Church WorshipMeet Calvary Community Church:

In a small village on the shores of Williams Bay, a group of people have gathered for the past 100 years for one purpose: to know Christ and make Him known. July of 1921 marked a new beginning for believers in this modest community as they put their passion to work, renovating their small church building and transitioning away from services conducted in Swedish so they could reach their English-speaking neighbors.

Thus the Williams Bay Free Mission Church was born, which ultimately became known as Calvary Community Church.

Our congregation has seen many faces, held many names, and weathered many seasons, but the Spirit of God has preserved our passion through it all. One hundred years later, we still want to know Christ and make Him known.

About the Associate Pastor:

Calvary Community Church is searching for an Associate Pastor of Discipleship to come alongside the Senior Pastor to care for the congregation, specifically in overseeing all aspects of discipleship within the church.

This person will have a character that meets and demonstrates the qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The church is looking for someone with integrity displayed as mature, pastoral, spiritual, servant-leadership (Psalm 78:72). The Associate Pastor will have a heart of humility (Numbers 12:3; Micah 6:8), will be an example for others (Philippians 4:9), and will have the heart of a shepherd (Ezekiel 34:23; 1 Peter 5:2). This person will have an intimate, dynamic, life-changing, and growing relationship with God. They will have healthy, God-honoring relationships with family, staff members, and the community as an example to the congregation, and they will have a passion for the Bible, the lost, prayer, worship, and discipleship.
