The role: The Lead Pastor of Centennial Road Church will provide spiritual leadership by preaching the gospel and communicating the primary vision for the church while leading the staff by example spiritually, personally, and professionally.
Meet Centennial Road Church
C-Road is a vibrant, growing Church located near the Canada/US border in eastern Ontario. The church has a rich history, first as the flagship Church of The Standard Church of America then as a lead church within the Central Canada District of the Wesleyan Church following their 2003 merger. C-Road is both stable and innovative. The church is presently searching for only her third pastor in the past fifty years.
Using the analogy of the early church:
C-Road is a force being used by God in her “Jerusalem”. The church has a modern ministry complex, including a 900 person sanctuary, district offices, a gymnasium, and training facilities which are continually being utilized in fresh, creative ways to reach people for Christ. As an example the church is presently renovating the children’s wing to include the largest indoor play structure in the city.
C-Road is a force being used by God in her “Judea”. As an example the church is presently partnering with another Wesleyan church to plant a new church in the fast-growing community of Amherstview, Ontario.
C-Road is a force being used by God in the uttermost parts of the world. As an example the church sent, and is the primary sponsoring church of missionary Joe Ocran. Joe initially planted one church in Ghana, Africa. That seed has grown to include medical centers, micro-industry initiatives, and more than 50 preaching points in western Africa.
