Meet North County Christ the King Church
In July 2000, Christ the King in Bellingham was rapidly outgrowing its new facility. In order to make room for more, Pastor Kim Ryan was asked to start a new Christ the King Church in Lynden, Washington. With the courageous help of 68 volunteers, they held their first service at the Lynden Christian High School Performing Arts Center, and 404 people showed up. Shortly after that, they moved into an ever-expanding facility at the Fairway Center. NCCTK has also planted a church in Kendall, east of Lynden, which is a solid, life-giving community of believers.
On January 2, 2014, Pastor Kim transitioned into his role as missionary to the nations, and the Life-Giving Network was born. Kim is now a full-time trainer to pastors and church plant support to hundreds of churches in India and Cambodia, primarily. Pastor Kurt Langstraat took the Lead Pastor position for NCCTK, having previously been serving as Associate Pastor. The church has rallied behind his leadership and continues to grow in depth and numbers. They are a people committed to loving God and one another, and sharing the love of Christ with everyone they can, here and in the nations.
