Meet Trinity Chapel Assembly of God

Trinity Chapel was founded in 1965 by a handful of believers who felt led to start a congregation in the east end of Louisville, KY. From these humble beginnings in an elementary school, the church has grown to serve as a loving community to people of all backgrounds, reaching those of various generations, education levels, socio-economic classes, and ethnicities. We are blessed to learn from our differences and enthusiastically celebrate the Savior who unites us.

In the past 15 years, God’s miraculous provision has allowed us to renovate almost every area of our campus, including our sanctuary, children’s center, café, gym and office spaces. These top-notch resources have given us an avenue of outreach to elementary schools, community organizations, athletic groups, and local missions. Our goal is to show God’s love generously to all of the children, youth and adults that partner with Trinity Chapel.

Our congregation is built on the strength of committed individuals who serve Christ, our church and their communities with unrestrained devotion. We prayerfully wait for the person God has called to lead us in this new season, and we look forward to the fresh vision and challenging word that are to come.

What it's like to live in Louisville, Kentucky:

Louisville is Kentucky's largest city and is located on the banks of the Ohio River along the border with Indiana. The greater Louisville metro area has more than 770,000 residents, and was founded in 1778 by George Rogers Clark, making it one of the oldest cities west of the Appalachians. The city's architecture contains a blend of old and new. The Old Louisville neighborhood is the largest historic preservation district solely featuring Victorian homes and buildings in the United States, it is also the third largest such district overall. Victorian architecture is a series of architectural revival styles. The buildings of West Main Street in downtown Louisville have the largest collection of cast iron facades of anywhere outside of New York's SoHo district.

Louisville today is home to dozens of companies and organizations across several industrial classifications. Louisville's importance to the shipping industry continues today with the presence of the Worldport global air-freight hub for UPS at Louisville International Airport. Louisville is a significant center of manufacturing, with two major Ford plants, and the headquarters and major home appliance factory of GE Appliances (a subsidiary of Haier). The top Louisville attraction is the Belle of Louisville, the oldest river steamboat in continuous use. Today, it takes passengers on cruises up and down the Ohio River, including lunch and dinner sightseeing cruises, sunset and moonlight cruises, special event cruises, bluegrass lunch cruises, and more. The vessel also races in the Great Steamboat Race every year on the Wednesday before the Kentucky Derby.
