VFC WorshipMeet Vaughn Forest Church:

Vaughn Forest Church was planted in 1994 by First Baptist Church Montgomery with the intent to do that which no one else is doing to reach those that no one else is reaching. Reaching those who are lost with the gospel of Jesus is at the DNA of who we are. In addition; our rich diversity; relevant, and engaging music style; exciting kids and students ministry; cutting edge community events; and a philosophy that church can be fun as all work together to make Vaughn Forest a unique beacon of light that all points straight to Jesus Christ as our only hope for rescue.

We are a staff led church with a lay accountability structure.

We believe that there are three unique attributes that make Vaughn Forest Church special in our area.

The first is practical teaching. We believe that it is so important for everyone to hear Bible-centered teaching that people can apply and actually use in everyday life.  We hear all the time from our folks how much they enjoy coming to hear teaching that relates to where they are in life and the subsequent life change that comes from that teaching.

The second attribute that makes Vaughn Forest unique is the authentic relationships that you find here. Simply put, the people here are real. They care for and love each other and their community and are excited and ready for a big movement from God.

Finally, we believe that the diversity that God has given us here at Vaughn Forest is an incredible gift in our area. Being multiracial, multi-economical, and multi-generational generates an environment where everyone feels welcome.  On the weekend you may see people wearing shorts and flip-flops embracing folks wearing a suit and tie and neither one will think anything of it. We feel that diversity is truly unique in our region.
