The role: The Children's Pastor is a high-level leader, fully invested and trained in leading our Family Ministry programming for children from birth through fifth grade.
Meet Visalia First Assembly:
From humble beginnings in a tent downtown at Center and Stevenson Streets in the Spring of 1928, to a sprawling 60-acre campus at Akers and Caldwell, Visalia First has made a tremendous impact on the City of Visalia and Tulare County for most of the past century.
Beginning with a charter membership of only 14 people, the congregation quickly outgrew its temporary locations in empty garage buildings, the Visalia Theatre, and a vacant pool hall, and built its first permanent building in 1931.
Following the leadership of 13 faithful pastors, Visalia First, under the leadership of Pastor Mike and Karen Robertson, now ministers to thousands of people weekly in multiple services who come from all over the Central Valley.
We invite you to see for yourself how exciting church can be when the focus is simple and people are free to seek God with passion!
Mike and Karen Robertson are the Lead Pastors of Visalia First in Visalia, California. Pastor Mike is a best-selling author and international speaker. Pastor Karen is an accomplished musician and recording artist.
