Worship Arts Director – Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church

We are a thriving family of believers committed to mobilizing the next generation to live a life on mission for Christ, loving and serving our local community with mercy, care, and compassion, and equipping our church to share the gospel so others discover new life in Christ. As Christians who believe we have been called to be disciples as we disciple others, we worship, serve, connect, and seek fresh ways to reach others with the gospel. We also love to have a little fun along the way! We’re so excited for you to join us on that journey!
We are a unique combination of Reformed, Spirit-filled, and Egalitarian. We are committed to our Reformed heritage, and root ourselves in our denomination—the Evangelical Presbyterian Church—which has a four-fold emphasis on churches that are Presbyterian, Reformed, Evangelical, and Missional. We are Spirit-filled, seeking to invite the Holy Spirit to be present to us and to equip us with the gifts that he gives to fulfill our work for Christ. And, we are Egalitarian, believing that God equips and calls both men and women to all roles within the church. We believe this trifecta is a unique combination that you might not find in many places, and if you align with these emphases, you will feel at home at Chapel Hill.
Over the next five years, we have a desire to see our community of Gig Harbor and the surrounding area impacted by a revival of the work of God. We see the church having such a positive impact on our community that if we were to cease to exist, people would cry out for our return. We see individual attenders of Chapel Hill inspired, equipped, and released to share the gospel in their spheres of influence so that thousands find new life in Christ. We see graduates from our student ministries going into college and the workplace, so on fire for Jesus, that they captivate others, extending Christ’s impact across this nation and beyond. And we believe all of this will only be possible by the work of God, to whom we are crying out daily to effect this work of revival in our midst.
