About the Organization:
Arundel Christian Church exists to daily connect people to Jesus and to one another.
ACC is a collection of imperfect people, who make up a community of faith, and its purpose is fueled by the belief that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most amazing thing that any human being can experience. Therefore, Arundel creates a space where both seekers and believers can feel comfortable as they explore a faith in Christ and build a relationship with Him and others.
With engaging weekend services averaging 850 in attendance, the church encourages its people to seek God, spend time with Him, and grow deeper in their discovery and understanding of Him. LifeGroups of the church are offered to create opportunities to express love, not only to God, but to others in our church and community, while outreach endeavors are used as an means for believers to discover their God-given gifts and to use them for His service within the church and outside among the marginalized of the community.
Arundel Christian Church reaches across all racial, generational, and socioeconomic lines to love people in practical ways so that others can see what God intended for them, led by the conviction that there is a better way to do life, and a relationship with Jesus is the key to understanding the difference.

About the Position:
The Worship Arts Pastor is responsible for creative use of the arts in support of weekly worship services and other church ministry events. This includes planning, design, and production of weekly adult worship services, oversight and support of other ministry areas in the use of the arts, and continuous improvement of arts capabilities in the church. This position will lead a team of paid staff and volunteers in the development of infrastructure to support use of the arts in other areas of the church, while functioning as a specialist in the areas of music and creative arts, supporting other areas of ministry in the church.
The Worship Arts Pastor will work to create artistic environments that fulfill the mission of Arundel Christian Church – Love God, Love People, and Serve our Community by leading people to live out the church’s five strategies:
- Worship – Loving God
- Connect – Creating Spiritual Family
- Grow – Chasing Spiritual Maturity
- Serve – Bearing Each Other’s Burdens
- Give – As You Have Been Blessed
What We Are Searching For/Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Church Music, Biblical Studies or related field is required, although extensive ministry experience, in some cases, can be substituted.
The preferable candidate would possess the following experience and skills:
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a staff member in a ministry leadership capacity.
- Some graphic design and video experience required.
- Strategic and visionary thinking skills.
- Capability to develop ministry team members by creating opportunities for biblical community through spiritual formation, shepherding, and leadership.
- A history of recruiting, training, and leading teams.
- A strong ability to deliver God’s Word creatively through Worship.
- Some knowledge of music theory, and the ability to transpose and arrange.

Arundel Christian Church is located in Glen Burnie, a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland.
