A love for Jesus Christ and an ardent desire to see Him glorified in the inner city of Greensboro were the impetus for the founding of this non-denominational body of believers. It strives to bring together God’s people from all walks of life that each might minister to the other according to their gifts and abilities. Grace Community Church’s highest aim is that they might together demonstrate the reality of Christ as one. The church’s focus is to make disciples who live out the Gospel crossing racial and economic lines, as they connect, grow, serve, and share the love of Christ as a community of faith.

About the Position:
The primary role of the College Ministry Pastor/Worship Arts Director is to build and lead a ministry to college students and to lead and develop the worship music ministry at Grace Community Church. While creating unity and cohesion between teams, this dual role will be responsible for building momentum that creates a sense of expectancy, as excellence in each ministry area is taken to the next level.
What We Are Searching For:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a multi-faceted leadership capacity and a firm understanding of the culture of Grace Community, so as to effectively execute all responsibilities pertaining to the College Ministry and Worship Arts Ministry. This individual’s scope of experience will speak to both ministries, while his/her authenticity and approachability will bear marks of a leader who is able to successfully work with teams consisting of diverse ages, skill sets, and backgrounds.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for the position of College Ministry Pastor/Worship Arts Director, while theological training or a seminary background is preferred. The applicant must have strong musical skills, including the ability to play gospel music on the keyboard.

Greensboro is part of a thriving metropolitan area called the Triad, which encompasses the three major cities of High Point, Winston-Salem and the city itself.
