Meet Liberty Christian Fellowship:

The vision for Liberty Christian Fellowship began in September of 1985, when Kim May, the founding pastor, prayed, "God, I'll do anything you want me to do." God took Kim up on his offer and impressed these words on his heart: "Start a church." Over the next eight months Kim and his wife, joined by four friends and their children, planned a move to Liberty, Missouri.

The first gatherings of this LCF church plant occurred in the Mays’ home on June 1, 1986, as a Sunday night Bible study. Within a few months, it switched to a Sunday morning worship service as attendance increased. In 1989, LCF bought three acres (with a small church building on it) at the corner of Liberty Drive and Conistor. LCF was a healthy, growing church of about 150 people. Since then, they've added various facilities to accommodate the continued growth and ministries of our church.  In January of 2016, Kim retired after leading LCF for 29 years and leadership was transitioned to Tim Fritson, the current Lead Pastor.
