The role: The Lead Pastor will be the primary preacher/teacher of clear, practical, compelling Biblical truth to the congregation, a visionary servant leader and a model of Christ-centered leadership for the entire congregation, and will strategically and collaboratively discern the ministry priorities of both the Rice Lake and Eau Claire campuses of Red Cedar Church.
Meet Red Cedar Church:
Red Cedar Church was born of a vision alignment, seeking to find a relevant way to reach people with the message of Christ who have given up on church or have not attended or set foot in a church for years. Red Cedar staff and volunteers are committed to doing the hard work to make it easy for weekend attenders and seekers to experience the love, awe, and wonder of Jesus.
Red Cedar has taken many steps of obedient risk throughout their history, such as having their first service in City Park, embarking on the journey of funding and building their current Rice Lake campus in 2015, and starting the Eau Claire Campus in 2018. These endeavors, among many others, all required a huge leap of faith in which the church body has seen God’s abundant provision. God has grown the church tremendously through this concept of obedient risk--it is at the very core of Red Cedar’s DNA.
Reaching the lost has always been Red Cedar Church’s number one priority. No place is too dark, and no person is too damaged to receive God’s love. The leadership of this church believes in serving humbly, and highly values vulnerability, authenticity, and the ability to have some fun.
