Rolling Hills Christian Church (Rolling Hills) was planted in April, 1995 at the local high school in El Dorado Hills, California. With a commitment to being an “Acts 2” church, the church pressed forward and grew through the late 1990’s and into the new millennium. With an external focus, Rolling Hills grew primarily through conversion growth—with over 2,000 baptisms since her beginning. After seven years in rented facilities, the church moved into a new facility in 2002. As growth continued, the need for a second facility was apparent and, in 2007, moved into the present worship auditorium where Sunday attendance grew to over 2,100.
With a heart for people, both locally and globally, Rolling Hills became known for compassionate outreach in the local area with food distribution happening from its facility twice a month. The church has also sent numerous short-term mission teams of medical construction, and sports outreach personnel to many countries, including Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Poland, Guatemala, and Mexico. The reputation of the student ministry at Rolling Hills is very strong, as is the vibrant ministry to children.
