Champion Forest Hires Senior Pastor

HOUSTON, Texas- Champion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, Texas has expanded its leadership team by appointing Dr. Jarrett Stephens as their new Senior Pastor. Champion Forest is a church committed to dynamic, Christ-centered worship and the teaching of God's Word each and every Sunday.

Dr. Jarrett Stephens began a relationship with Christ at a young age and always had a love for the church. After realizing he felt a call to ministry in high school, he enrolled at Ouachita Baptist University to study both Biblical Studies and Psychology. While attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he began working at Prestonwood Baptist Church, and served as the College and Young Singles pastor for nine years before transitioning into a role as a Teaching Pastor. He has also received his doctorate from Liberty Theological Seminary.

His passion for evangelism and discipleship will be a great fit with Champion Forest. Their church strives to know God better, grow deeper in knowledge of faith, and serve their community for God’s glory.
