Grace Community School Hires Director of Development

TYLER, Texas– Grace Community School in Tyler, Texas, has expanded its leadership team with a key hire, with Miles Morrison stepping in to serve as their new Director of Development. Miles joins Grace Community School after previously serving as a Development Officer in the College of Business at the University of Louisville. 

Grace Community School, located in Tyler, Texas, serves more than 900 students in grades K-12 as a school striving to “teach Jesus” in all they are and do.

Miles also brings a range of ministry and business world experience to his new role, including roles as a Lead Pastor, experience working with Lifeway and Christian universities such as Dallas Baptist University, and most recently, the University of Louisville. Miles, along with his wife and three children, are excited to join the community at Grace in Tyler. 

Grace Community School exists to assist Christian families in educating, equipping, and encouraging their children to influence the world for Christ. 

Grace is the only East Texas school recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education for high academic achievement at the elementary and high school levels. Grace is also a charter member of the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA) and is one of the first two schools in the country to be recognized with Exemplary Accreditation status by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Every year since 1999, Grace Community School has finished in the top five for the TAPPS Henderson Cup, which recognizes schools’ excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics.
