Jim VanVliet Announcement

PHOENIX, Arizona - North Phoenix Baptist Church in Arizona has expanded its leadership team by appointing Jim VanVliet as their new Executive Pastor of Ministry. North Phoenix Baptist was started in 1946 by a group of dedicated people meeting in a home, with the vision to reach the city with the gospel. Today, North Phoenix Baptist is still committed to reach and equip people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, throughout the valley and around the world.

As Executive Pastor of Ministry, Jim will oversee all ministries, set goals, support staff, and strive to expand and unify the church while managing resources effectively. Jim is a dedicated believer who loves Jesus and has a strong desire to make disciples and develop leaders. He has extensive experience in strategic planning, financial oversight, new program development, and operations.

He is a big believer in teamwork, strategic planning, and a vision-driven ministry. Jim will be an excellent fit for the team at North Phoenix Baptist, and we are eager to see the work he does there.”
