One Hope Pres Hires Head Pastor

LONGVIEW, Texas - One Hope Presbyterian in Longview, Texas has expanded its leadership team by appointing Craig Vanbiber as their new Head Pastor. One Hope Presbyterian strives to be a church learning how to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength and how to love their neighbors as themselves. Craig has a heart for the Church and will be a great asset to One Hope and the Longview community.

Craig answered his calling from the Lord in 1987 and has spent the past 34 years serving in various capacities. His experience includes leading a youth ministry, working as an associate pastor and for the past 15 years, he has served as the lead pastor of Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Marshall, Texas. As Craig steps into this new position, his ultimate desire is to walk by faith alongside other believers as the living Church, exercising his gifts and encouraging theirs so that together they might be strengthened by the Holy Spirit to live steadfastly in His power and to grow in grace and love for God. He is passionate about shepherding his congregation, preaching the Word, and overall heart-to-heart, Holy-Spirit-besotted relational ministry. Craig will be a perfect match for One Hope Presbyterian as they enter this new season of leadership.

Craig Vanbiber and his wife, Jamie, are eager to take on this opportunity and call Longview their new home.
