Parkview Baptist Church Hires Lead Pastor

ROUGE, Louisiana - Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has expanded its leadership by appointing Chris DeGeorge as their new Lead Pastor. Parkview Baptist Church is a family-friendly community that exists to love God and disciple the generations.

In Chris DeGeorge’s teenage years, God revealed that he was supposed to shepherd his people through pastoral ministry. Out of obedience, he has seen the work of Christ through seminary and over 17 years of professional ministry experience. Chris has been graciously surrounded by relationships that cover him in discipleship over the years. God used these relationships as a catalyst for growth in his spiritual life through prayer, accountability, and fellowship. His desire is to see individuals saved and discipled to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

When it was time to hire their next pastor, the team was really clear that they wanted outside guidance to help them with unity around the process and decision. Thankfully we were asked to come alongside them and be that outside voice in this season.”
