Vanderbloemen Expands to New Markets

Vanderbloemen is excited to announce that we are expanding to four new markets beyond our Houston headquarters in 2020: Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Orange County.  

When God gave me the vision to start Vanderbloemen, I never dreamed it would be what it is today. What started with a card table and a prayer in my living room is now nearly forty staffing professionals who have completed 1,000+ staffing assignments for Christian teams in 48 of the 50 states and 8 countries around the world. 

Earlier this year, I shared an expansion vision for 2019 as we built upon our work with churches by expanding our Chrisitan nonprofit, education, values-based business, and family office practices. It has been a joy to see those areas grow since that announcement as our team serves the global, “Big C” Church. 

Today, we are continuing to expand by building out our team in key markets where the majority of our clients are around the country. This means that we will spend less time in the air and more time in-person with you, our clients and candidates. Our central team of nearly forty team members will remain in Houston while we add new regional Executive Search Consultants to help serve our clients in the Southeast, Midwest, Mountain, and Pacific regions. 

When I started Vanderbloemen, I just so happened to live in Houston, TX, the fourth largest city in the U.S., a major airport hub, and a location that was within a day trip to both coasts. Because of the central hub that Houston had to offer, I required that all Vanderbloemen team members be located in Houston. 

Having all of our team members in Houston has been a crucial component of our firm’s growth. Executive search was a fairly new idea to churches in 2010, and bringing the best practices of corporate search to the nuances of ministry was an unprecedented feat. Being in Houston allowed us to create scalable systems, prove a search process, and build an award-winning culture that is now infused into everything we do as a company. 

We’ve had the privilege of completing more staffing assignments than anyone else serving the Christian market. Vanderbloemen now has nearly 40 full-time staff working out of our offices in Houston. Our systems, processes, and culture are ready to scale, with new offices opening in Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, and Orange County, California in 2019-2020. 

Dan Knuff is leading the way as our Phoenix-based Executive Search Consultant. We’ll be hiring additional Executive Search Consultants in Chicago, Atlanta, and Orange County in the coming months.   

One of our Vanderbloemen Differences is “In-Person Makes All The Difference.” The face-to-face component of our search process is a primary key to finding who God is calling to your staff. We believe that if virtual worked, Jesus would have Skyped in. In-person with you, we’re able to take a tour of your facility, meet your team face-to-face, see firsthand what God is doing through your organization, and best understand your DNA to find you the right candidates that fit your culture. 

With team members in our key client hubs around the country, we’ll be able to be with you, in-person now more than ever to help you build your best team.
