Our Latest News & Resources

Chantel - VanderNews

Last month, we had the honor of learning from Pastor Aaron Moore, the Director of Ministry at Concord Church. He shared a wealth of wisdom and knowledge about African American Church history. In light of the recent racial injustice to the black community in our country, our hope is that this resource helps cultivate a better understanding of the African American church and helps all church leaders lead with empathy as we love and support our black brothers and sisters. Watch the full conversation here.

This week's newsletter features resources on the increasing importance of staffing decisions and succession. See what thought leaders are saying in our new materials on succession planning and our brand new Ultimate Guide to Church Communications.

Pastoral leadership comes with new challenges and opportunities in a post-COVID-19 world. Many pastors are wondering what outreach and discipleship will look like after the pandemic and how they can best equip staff and volunteers for a new phase of leadership. We gathered together a panel of Senior Pastors to discuss these concerns on the future of pastoral leadership and hear their strategies for moving forward.

One of the most significant shifts for churches during COVID-19 has been the inability to worship together in person. As churches begin to consider meeting in person while maintaining online worship experiences, many leaders are developing strategies for their musicians and vocalists to play together in person and online. We spoke with a panel of top worship leaders who shared what they've learned during this season and offered insight into best practices moving forward.
