York graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and from Talbot Theological Seminary in 2018 with a Master’s in Christian Apologetics. Prior to joining the team at Vanderbloemen, York was a Youth Pastor for seven years and is passionate about discipleship, God’s word, and church revival.

Originally from Southern California, York currently resides in The Woodlands. York is an adventurous eater and can often be found following new trends, watching food videos, and looking for new restaurants. York loves playing retro video games and spending time with his wife and two beautiful children.
