Elizabeth Shurtz
Elizabeth has over 15 years of experience working with nonprofits, schools, and churches. She brings leadership experience from her work in performing arts organizations with a special focus on organizational health, talent management, and cross-functional integration. She is passionate about identifying and analyzing issues that stand in the way of organizational growth and missional impact. She is grateful to contribute to Vanderbloemen’s legacy by supporting its staff and continually optimizing practices to better serve the ever-changing needs of diverse clients in various contexts.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Music Education from University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Music from University of Houston. She and her husband live in Houston with their two standard poodles named after musical icons Leontyne Price and Dolly Parton. Elizabeth and her husband enjoy having Houston as their home base because of its rich international culture, performing arts community, and amazing food!
