The church offers Sunday services at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM, both in-person and online, providing a welcoming environment for individuals at all stages of their spiritual journey. White Pine emphasizes the importance of small groups for building relationships and deepening faith. The church also offers various ministries, including programs for children, youth, women, and men, as well as opportunities for volunteering and community service. White Pine’s approach is characterized by contemporary worship music and a focus on applying biblical teachings to everyday life, making it an accessible and inclusive place for all who seek to explore and grow in their faith.
About the Associate Pastor
We are seeking an Associate Pastor who wants to be mentored in preaching and leadership with the goal of transitioning to a lead pastor role in 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will be a New England native or someone who, with their spouse and family, has a “missionary mindset”, embracing the adventure of assimilating into Maine culture and making a long-term investment in the church and community.
This pastor will be a deeply relational team player who builds one-on-one relationships, leads with vision, and engages in meaningful outreach. With a major stewardship campaign on the horizon, we need someone whom the congregation will trust to help carry the vision of the church into the future. They must be Jesus-centered with convictions shaped by all of Scripture rather than a theological tribe, and they must not be driven by politics. A commitment to planting roots and growing a family here is critical, as we hope this leader will walk with us through many seasons to come.
