Anthony hails from the great state of Nebraska but now resides in Texas. He is an advisor, trainer, and certified consultant to pastors across the country. Now 25 years in the ministry, he has served in multiple church staff positions. He worked as consultant with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, and as Executive Pastor to two megachurches in Texas; Higher Dimension Church in Houston and currently, Resurrection Church in San Antonio.
Dr. Cobbs is the founder of Breakthrough Ministry Consulting and anthonycobbs.com, purposed with helping pastors and ministry leaders realize vision for the kingdom. He conducts research on pastors and leadership and finds great joy seeing people walk in their purpose.
He has earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Masters in Christian Ministry and a Doctorate in Leadership from Creighton University. Dr. Cobbs is the father of four millennials, an author, researcher, and avid Spurs fan. Win or lose.
