Why You Don't Need To Change Your Brand – Just Live It Better with Kem Meyer [Podcast]
By: Vanderbloemen October 23, 2018
On today’s Vanderbloemen Leadership Podcast, Holly Tate talks with Kem Meyer, author of Less Chaos. Less Noise.: Effective Communications for an Effective Church. Kem's passion: helping churches and organizations grow their reach with organized, aligned communications.
Holly talks with Kem about the importance of aligning your organization's communications to reach more people and ensure your message is clearly understood.
Kem Meyer has spent three decades working with small business, big business, not for profit, tech, finance, PR, advertising, schools and churches. They all have issues with communications; for better and worse. And, learning from them all, she’s developed quite a knack for finding the simple themes that increase organizational clarity and remove barriers that get in the way of your desired message or flow.
While Kem spends her time working in all industry sectors, she wrote Less Chaos. Less Noise. and built our team out of her experience with and heart for the church. She’s empathetic to a society increasingly turning away from the church for answers because its methods and language are clumsy and difficult. And, she has seen the difference a healthy local church can make in a community. That tension is what drives her work to help more people in ministry stop adding to the confusion and start making a connection.
Kem also collaborates with teams who are the best at what they do and have the heart to follow-through like PlainJoe Studios, The Unstuck Group, the Center for Church Communications, the Center for Congregations and 95 Network.

Quotes from Kem:
"Our brand is not the story we tell ourselves, it’s the story people tell about us, when we are not around."
