First Baptist Garland ChurchMeet First Baptist Garland:

First Baptist Garland is a multigenerational church with a legacy of more than 150 years of serving Garland and its surrounding communities. We come together each week for worship, community, and uncompromising Biblical teaching. We’re committed to meeting the needs of our local community and the needs around the world while growing in our own faith.

First Baptist Church began in 1868 as Antioch Baptist Church. Though our faces and buildings have changed since those early days, First Baptist's mission to reach the community for Christ has not. We believe the Bible to be our manual, and Christ to be our example.

Each Sunday we worship in Traditional, Contemporary/Blended styles (as well as in a Spanish-language service). We offer varied Bible Study classes designed for all ages and interests. We believe it is important to begin teaching the Bible and showing the love of Christ even to the youngest of our church family -- the Newborns and Preschoolers. We also have vital Children's and Student ministries that teach the Bible in fun, innovative ways, challenging kids to make a lifelong commitment to serving the Lord and reaching out to our community.

On Wednesdays, we offer a variety of activities for all ages as well. We have an Adult Sanctuary Choir, Children's Choirs, Youth Discipleship Training, Fellowship Supper, and Bible Study/Prayer Time for adults.

We're saving a seat for you.
