What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Journey Church has found its new Lead Pastor. 

Journey Church is a faith community in Ladson, South Carolina, with a mission to build and deploy disciples of Jesus Christ. Journey was looking for a Lead Pastor that could teach, grow, and assist in fulfilling their ministry and mission. As we spent time understanding exactly what they were looking for, Chris Fowler was a clear fit for the job.

Chris has a broad range of experience in ministry from a local church pastor to a ministry leader for quite some time. He has been given many opportunities to serve on executive leadership and teaching teams, allowing him to grow in skillset while also helping the local church. He feels strongly that God has been preparing him for this role of Lead Pastor.

Chris and Jana, his wife of 14 years, and their four children are ecstatic to be moving from Georgia to Ladson, South Carolina. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Journey Church and Chris on this search, and we are excited for their church in this new season of leadership.
