Living Faith Christian Church Hires Senior Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Living Faith Christian Church found their new Senior Pastor.

Living Faith Christian Church has a long history of people stepping out in faith to provide a place for individuals and families to experience a dynamic, loving community where people can connect with God and others. The church was established in 1952 and while the buildings have changed, the commitment to use the church as a space for all to come for worship and teaching has remained strong.

During our meeting with Living Faith Christian Church, we learned that the Senior Pastor plays a crucial role in fulfilling their mission of serving others through their ministry. As we searched for the right candidate to lead the church and staff in advancing this mission, we realized that this was a highly important decision. After careful consideration, our team found that Scott Lothery was the ideal fit for the position.

Scott Lothery felt a calling to ministry soon after he put his faith in Christ. He has received a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In March, he published his first book, Always Good News: Why the Message of Jesus Is Good Every Day. Scott has served as a Pastor in both small and large congregations and has a strong educational and writing background. He is currently working towards leading Living Faith Christian to multi-faceted growth with a focus on the virtue of Christ.

Scott and his wife Cindy are excited to be moving from Chicago, Illinois to Farmingdale, New York. The Lothery’s will be a great addition to the community at Living Faith Christian Church, and we are excited for what is to come under Scott’s leadership as Senior Pastor.
