Park Community Church Hires Teaching Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Park Community Church found their new Teaching Pastor.

Park Community Church began over 35 years ago in the community of Lincoln Park with a mission to engage people in the city of Chicago with the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ. The church is centered around making disciples, equipping the saints, sending them out, and spreading the gospel far and wide. Park Community is a gospel-centered church that gathers every week to worship Jesus in many neighborhoods throughout the city of Chicago. 

While meeting with the congregation leaders, we discussed their need for a Teaching Pastor that would provide leadership, advance the growth of the church, and help further the spread of the gospel.

We found Eric Targe to be the perfect fit for this Teaching Pastor role. Eric has a passion for the shepherding and discipleship of God’s people according to His word, and to equip Christians to evangelize and serve others. Eric has served in many pastoral roles that have allowed him to develop strong communication, relational, and preaching skills. We know that he will be a great fit at Park Community Church.

The Targe family is excited to pour into the various ministries that are offered at Park Community Church. Eric and his family are looking forward to the relationships, Kingdom work, and opportunities that joining their new church family will bring.
