Shenandoah Baptist Church Hires Senior Pastor

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! Shenandoah Baptist Church found their new Senior Pastor.

Shenandoah Baptist Church exists to glorify God and make disciples of Christ. The church offers a wide variety of ministry opportunities for all walks of life. This people-oriented community is comprised of many programs and vehicles that serve to evangelize, equip, educate, disciple, and contribute to the spiritual growth of adults and children. Upon meeting with Shenandoah Baptist Church, we discovered their need for a Senior Pastor who could oversee the work and ministry of the church while protecting its spiritual vitality. After an extensive search, we found Dr. Michael Wilburn to be the perfect fit for this role. 

Dr. Michael Wilburn has an abundance of experience in ministry and has provided great vision and leadership as a pastor for 20 years. Throughout his education and roles as a Lead Pastor and Senior Pastor, Michael has served many with a deep passion for furthering the kingdom in his work. We know that with his dedication to ministry and care for the Gospel, he will be a great addition to the Shenandoah Baptist Church family. 

Dr. Wilburn, along with his wife and three children, is excited to step into this new role of Senior Pastor. The Wilburns are thrilled about the opportunity to move to Roanoke, Virginia from Richmond. The ministry programs at Shenandoah Baptist Church will serve as great communities for the entire family.
