Vaughn Forest Church Hires Senior Pastor

MONTGOMERY, Alabama – Vaughn Forest Church has expanded its leadership team with a critical hire. Adam Bishop is stepping in to serve as their new Lead Pastor.

Vaughn Forest Church is part of the Southern Baptist denomination in Alabama and has 1,100 members.  

Vanderbloemen loves the whole church - serving more than 50 denominations across the theological spectrum - and is honored to have partnered with Vaughn Forest on this vital and important hire.

Adam Bishop joins the Vaughn Forest staff after serving as their interim Pastor for the last 11 months. He also brings extensive Lead Pastor experience and theological training to his new role, making him a natural fit for Vaughn Forest Church. With an overwhelmingly supportive vote, he will begin his new role immediately, along with his wife Morgan, and children.

Vaughn Forest Church was first planted in 1994 by First Baptist Church Montgomery. Since it's beginning, their mission has been to do what no one else is doing to reach those that no one else is reaching. Reaching those who are lost with the gospel of Jesus is at the DNA of who Vaughn Forest Church is. The church is rich in diversity, has relevant, and engaging music and exciting kids and students ministries. It also has cutting-edge community events and a philosophy that church can be fun. All these things work together to make Vaughn Forest a unique beacon of light that points straight to Jesus Christ.
