York Alliance Church Hires Executive Pastor of Ministries

What does Ring the Bell mean? At Vanderbloemen, we want to celebrate as a team every time we have the honor of helping a church, school, or organization find their perfect candidate to fill a gap in their team and further their ministry. To do that, we have a bell on the wall in our Vanderbloemen office, within hearing distance of the entire team. Every time a candidate is placed, the team members who worked on that search ring the bell so that our team can celebrate!

Ring the bell! York Alliance Church found their new Executive Pastor of Ministries.

York Alliance Church pursues the transformational love of Jesus and seeks to build communities that share this love with all people. Since 1927, York Alliance has grown as a congregation that is committed to serving and building the Kingdom. Over the years the church has impacted many in the York, Pennsylvania area through ministry and encouragement. 

When we first met with York Alliance Church, we discovered their need for an Executive Pastor of Ministries to oversee operations in support of the church’s vision and mission. Through our search process, we found Asa Sturtevant to be the perfect match for this role. 

Asa Sturtevant is a servant leader, highly motivated by the Gospel. With vast experience in pastoral ministry, Asa has directed counseling and discipleship programs to help churches achieve their mission. Asa has a clear gift of leadership and has helped many churches strengthen their outreach efforts. We are excited to see all that he accomplishes at York Alliance as their new Executive Pastor of Ministries. 

Asa, his wife, and their four children are excited to move from New Jersey to York, Pennsylvania. The Sturtevants enjoy seeing God’s creative grace through nature and discipleship in their community. We are confident that Asa and his family will be a great addition to York Alliance Church.
