Urban Impact Foundation Hires Director of Finance

Director of Finance

Pittsburgh, PA

“Urban Impact has served youth on Pittsburgh's North Side for 25 years. They are not the type of organization that comes into the neighborhood on the weekend to minister to that community. Their missionaries live on the North Side and are committed to doing life with the youth and families and walking with them in their everyday life.”

- Executive Consultant, Chantel McHenry

Urban Impact Foundation Community

Pastor Ed Glover founded Urban Impact Foundation in 1995 to help address the profound and unique challenges facing today’s urban communities, which he witnessed first-hand every day for over nine years as a Pittsburgh North Side resident and pastor at Allegheny Center Alliance Church. During this time, Pastor Glover recognized that the trials of children and families in urban communities could only be effectively addressed through holistic development of the mind, body, and spirit through Christ– one person, one family, one block at a time. Thus, Urban Impact was born!

Urban Impact Foundation Mission: To fulfill Christ’s Great Commission on the North Side of Pittsburgh by following His holistic ministry model by investing in the lives of at-risk children, youth, and their families to develop responsible followers of Christ.
