Connexus Church Hires Executive Director of Connection & Community/Campus Pastor

BARRIE, Ontario - Connexus Church in Barrie, Ontario has expanded its leadership team by appointing Ben Hilson as Executive Director of Connection & Community/Campus Pastor. Connexus strives to be a church that unchurched people love to be a part of. It is a place where people can come as they are.

Ben Hilson has been faithfully serving in ministry for over 11 years in multiple roles and several multi-site churches. He has a passion for communicating the gospel and a gift for reaching people where they are. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Wycliffe College.

Ben shared, “seeing people that are from God come to understand the love and grace of the person of Jesus is one of my greatest passions—having the chance to do that at a church that’s all about creating a church that non-church people like to attend lines up very well with how I think and operate. I am looking forward to joining a leadership team that is trying to lead a movement to reach people with the Gospel across Canada.” 

We know Ben will be a great addition to the Connexus team. He and his wife Nicole, along with their four kids: Xavi, Mason, Vesper, and Lennon are eager for this new season in Barrie. We are honored to have worked with Connexus on this search and are thrilled to see how Ben excels as the Executive Director of Connection & Community/Campus Pastor of Connexus Church.
